LFS and the U.S. Air Force join forces for boxing and MMA promotion events across the Midwest.
CLEVELAND, OH — May 2, 2026 — Legends Fight Series (LFS), the premier regional boxing and MMA promotion launching its inaugural 2026 season this summer, today announced a primary partnership with the United States Air Force. The partnership will bring an active Air Force presence to every LFS event across the promotion’s tour markets — Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, Indianapolis, Louisville, and Lexington — beginning with the inaugural card on Friday, June 5, at Crushers Stadium in Avon, Ohio.
Under the partnership, the U.S. Air Force will operate on-site recruiting stations at every LFS event, participate in special in-arena presentations, and stand inside the ring and octagon for the performance of the National Anthem before each show. LFS will also work hand-in-hand with every host community to deliver VIP experiences for military veterans, active-duty service members, and their families at each event on the tour.
A Personal Mission for the LFS Founder
For LFS CEO and co-founder Aaron Boggs, the partnership is more than a sponsorship. This is a personal mission rooted in family, faith, and a career that has long intersected with American aerospace.
“Having the U.S. Air Force stand with Legends Fight Series in every city we visit is one of the proudest moments in the building of this brand. I spent years of my career at Rolls-Royce Aerospace supporting the engines that power some of the most important aircraft of the USAF. I have family members who have worn the uniform of this country. The values the Air Force represents service, discipline, courage, and a willingness to put something bigger than yourself ahead of yourself. These are the exact same values our fighters carry into the ring and octagon every single night. This partnership is the heart of what LFS is about. We don’t just put on fights. We put on shows that honor the people who make it possible for the rest of us to live, work, and compete freely in this country.”

Wright-Patterson AFB on the Power of Community Engagement
“We’re excited to stand alongside Legends Fight Series in every one of these cities. Combat sports fans understand grit, sacrifice, and what it means to commit fully to something bigger than yourself — those are the same qualities that drive our airmen every day. Being in the venue, meeting fans face-to-face, and connecting with the next generation of leaders right in their hometowns is exactly the kind of community engagement that strengthens both our service and the communities we serve. We’re proud to be part of what Aaron Boggs, Deputy Troy Speakman, and the entire LFS team are building across the Midwest.”

A New Standard for Regional Combat Sports
For LFS matchmaker Brandon “Hardrock” Higdon, the Air Force partnership is part of a larger pattern. The level of production, partnerships, and venues that Boggs and co-founder Troy Speakman are putting behind every event.
“What Aaron and Troy are doing is taking the regional combat sports experience to a level fighters and fans in this part of the country have not seen before. The quality of the venues, the production, and now having the U.S. Air Force right there in the building with us, it changes everything. Our fighters love this partnership. They feel honored to share the card with the men and women who serve, and that energy carries straight into the cage. Aaron and Troy have raised the bar, and the rest of the region is going to feel it.”

What It Means for Fans
Every LFS event on the 2026 tour will offer a fight night experience built around community, country, and competition. Fans can expect:
- A ring and octagon walkout for the National Anthem with U.S. Air Force personnel front and center
- On-site recruiting stations and meet-and-greets with active-duty airmen
- Special in-arena honor ceremonies recognizing service members and veterans
- Dedicated VIP experiences for veterans, active-duty service members, and their families in every host city
This partnership reflects the core mission of Legends Fight Series: to build a regional combat sports promotion that honors the fighters in the cage, the fans in the seats, and the communities that make every show possible.
Friday Night Fights: The Rising — June 5 at Crushers Stadium
The partnership officially debuts on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Crushers Stadium in Avon, Ohio, with “The Rising,” the inaugural card of the LFS Burning River Series. In a first-of-its-kind regional combat sports experience, the LFS octagon will be installed directly on home plate of the baseball stadium — outdoors, under the lights — with a full pro card of boxing and MMA action under the open Northeast Ohio sky. Gates, walkouts, the National Anthem, and the U.S. Air Force activation will all unfold in a setting unlike anything regional combat sports has delivered before.
