Two Undefeated Ohioans, One Outdoor Ring
Saturday, June 13, 2026 | Land of Illusion Adventure Park | Middletown, OH
Doors 7 PM | First Bell 8 PM | Outdoors, Under the Lights

Boxing is loud again.
Between Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions putting prizefighting back on prime-time platforms, Zuffa Boxing reshaping how the sport is broadcast, and a new wave of promoters investing in the regional scene, the pro ranks are getting more attention than they have in years. The next chapter of that story is being written in Ohio.
On Saturday, June 13, 2026, Rising Stars Boxing is teaming up with Legends Fight Series to bring an incredible night of professional boxing to Land of Illusion Adventure Park in Middletown, OH an outdoor show, under the lights, in one of the most unique venues this region has ever seen host a pro card.
In the main event, two undefeated Ohio prospects collide:
Jeffery Hudson Jr. (7-0) of Toledo vs. Edgar Dominguez (4-0) of Columbus.
Zero losses between them. Eleven pro fights, eleven wins. One of them leaves Middletown still perfect. The other doesn’t.
Why This Fight Matters
In an era where matchmakers protect prospects with tomato-can records and easy stay-busy nights, this is a real fight. Two homegrown Ohio fighters — both still unbeaten, both with WBC title dreams, agreeing to step in the ring against each other is exactly the kind of matchup the regional scene is supposed to produce. It’s the kind of fight that builds careers and the kind of fight that builds promotions.
When Hudson Jr. and Dominguez stand across from each other on June 13, the loser doesn’t just take an L on the record. He takes a step back from the path he’s been carving. That’s why this is the type of fight pro boxing has been missing — and exactly the kind of risk Legends Fight Series is here to put on.
Jeffery Hudson Jr. – Toledo’s Featherweight Finisher
Fighting out of Toledo, Hudson Jr. has built his 7-0 record the hard way: with his hands. The featherweight stands 5’7″ and has been turning in stoppage performances on bigger and bigger stages, including a Round 2 TKO of Ahmond Oates on the Bell vs. Hunter card at Toledo’s Huntington Center in August 2025.
He’s a finisher. Defensively responsible, offensively patient and when he sees the opening, he closes the show.
This is his eigth pro fight. It will also be his toughest. Seven pro wins is enough to know you can fight. June 13 is the night he finds out exactly how good.
Edgar Dominguez – Columbus’s Unbeaten Challenger
Out of Columbus, Edgar Dominguez enters the ring 4-0. He’s a young pro on the rise, taking the kind of step up that fighters either get ready for or get exposed by. There’s no ducking on his side of this one — he’s coming to Middletown to take Hudson Jr.’s “0” and walk out with the biggest win of his career to date.
For Dominguez, this is the kind of opportunity prospects wait years for: a credible, in-state opponent on a well-promoted card, in a packed-out venue, in front of cameras and a crowd that will remember the name of whoever’s left standing.
A Stacked Undercard
The Hudson Jr. vs. Dominguez main event sits on top of a deep card featuring some of the Midwest’s most respected pros, including:
- DeAndre Ware — NABA USA and WBC Continental Americas Super Middleweight Champion (13-1, 8 KOs)
- Samuel Wildenhaus
- Tyshawn Denson
- And more pro and prospect-level fighters to be announced
From the opening bell to the main event, this is a real boxing card, not a glorified exhibition.
A Venue Built for a Spectacle
Most regional boxing cards run in the same handful of convention halls and casino ballrooms. June 13 is different. Land of Illusion Adventure Park a year-round entertainment destination most known for its haunted attractions, water park, and Christmas Glow drive-thru is opening its grounds for a full outdoor pro boxing show.
Outdoor ring. Stadium-style lighting. Open-air production. A festival atmosphere wrapped around real, sanctioned pro boxing.
It’s the kind of setting that turns a fight night into an event and the kind of bet on a new venue that the LFS team is going to keep making.
“When you put two undefeated kids in a ring under the lights, you’re not selling a card. You’re selling a moment. Hudson Jr. and Dominguez are both hungry, both ready, and both have a real argument for being the next guy out of Ohio. That’s the fight we wanted, that’s the fight we made, and on June 13 the fans are the ones who win.”

Special Guest: “Buster” Douglas — The Man Who Beat Mike Tyson
Boxing royalty will be in the building.
James “Buster” Douglas, the Columbus, Ohio native who pulled off what is widely regarded as the greatest upset in boxing history, will be in attendance on June 13. Buster will be on-site for a meet-and-greet and photo session at 7:30 PM, after doors open and before the first bell.
On February 11, 1990, at the Tokyo Dome, Douglas walked into the ring as a 42-to-1 underdog against the seemingly invincible “Iron” Mike Tyson — the undefeated, undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, then 37-0 with 33 knockouts and considered the most feared man on the planet. Ten rounds later, Buster knocked Tyson out, took the WBC, WBA, and IBF heavyweight titles, and changed sports history forever.
A Columbus kid, a Linden-McKinley state basketball champion, and a heavyweight who proved on a global stage that no one is invincible, Buster Douglas is more than a champion — he is living proof that on any given night, anyone can shock the world. There is no more fitting hometown legend to share a card with two undefeated Ohio fighters chasing the next chapter in that story — including Edgar Dominguez, who calls Columbus home, just like Buster.
Bring your phones. Bring something for him to sign. This is one of those photo ops you tell your kids about.
“Middletown is a great community, and Land of Illusion is exactly the type of unique, upscale venue that pro boxing should be in. The Dayton-Cincinnati corridor has loyal fight fans who deserve a real card with real fighters in a setting that feels like an event. This is just the beginning — we’re committed to bringing more pro boxing promotions to the Midwest, and we’re going to keep doing it in places people actually want to spend their Saturday night.”
— Aaron Boggs, CEO, Legends Fight Series
